Request:To Estonians, Saaremaa (literally ‘island land’) is synonymous with juniper fields, windmills, stone fences, beer and friendly people with a good sense of humor. Estonia’s largest island (roughly the size of Luxembourg) is largely covered in forests of pine and juniper. Its windmills, lighthouses and tiny villages with thatched roof houses seem largely unbothered by the passage of time.
This tour takes you to the main sights of the Saaremaa island - mysterious Kaali Meteorite crater, Angla Windmills mount, the highest bedrock outcrop in western Estonia Panga Cliff all the way to Järve sand dunes.
Tour starts and ends in Kuressaare. You can get bikes in Kuressaare.
